ABOUT US


Motivated by a passion for animals and deep understanding of quality pet care, we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the community while doing something we love. We love our furry family members and will assure your pets are loved and well cared for while you are away. 

Meet our family…

 

 

Mandy, owner and manager of Lucky’s Dog House, is a stay home mom of three. Mandy spends her time caring for her human and fur babies full time. She spent many years caring for foster and special needs children. She is a devoted Bulldog mom and carries her experience in caring for this sensitive breed into caring for your furry family members. 

 

 

 

Steve, co-owner of Lucky’s doghouse and experienced dog owner, is an Art Director in the movie industry. 

Haley, support staff and daughter of Steve and Mandy, is taking online college classes to become a registered nurse. Haley has a lengthy history of in home fish and dog care. 

 

Logan, support staff and daughter of Steve and Mandy, has a lengthy history of in home rodent, cat and dog care.

 

Nathan, support staff and son of Steve and Mandy, has a lengthy history of dog care. 

 

Stewart and Stephanie, support staff and parents of Mandy, are experienced dog and cat owners.

 

Selvin, support staff and husband to Haley, is an experienced dog owner.

 

Kelsey, support staff and member of our church family, has a lengthy history of animal care and training and is studying to become a Vet Tech.

Robin, support staff and member of our church family, has a lengthy history of animal care and teaches horse back riding lessons to special needs children.

Ashley, support staff and member of our church family, has a lengthy history of animal care and has started a business of embroidered and personalized dog collars.

Our bulldog, Boba, and Malinois, Mia, are our newest fur babies and are preceded by bulldog's Peaches, Duke and Lucky, who have sadly crossed the rainbow bridge and will forever be missed.

LUCKY’S DOGHOUSE DAYCARE AND BOARDING SERVICES

Accommodations:

Kennels are located in a 2000sf climate controlled building. Building includes 7 standard 5'x6' indoor/outdoor kennels and 2 deluxe oversized 15'x6'  indoor/outdoor kennels. Standard kennels include a plastic raised bed with soft padding and blankets. Deluxe oversized kennels include crib sized waterproof mattresses and/or large dog beds. Water provided continuously and meals served twice a day. Relaxing spa music plays 24/7. Toys provided in kennels at owner's request. Treats provided at no cost. 

Sanitation: 

Stainless steel dog bowls cleaned daily. Kennels cleaned as needed throughout the day and sanitized regularly with Kennelsol and Wysiwash. 

Exercise and Playtime: 

Dogs are taken on walks around the 4.7 acre property at least 2 times a day (weather permitting) and are given off leash playtime in one of three fully fenced play yards. Toys, balls, tug ropes  and small pools/water play provided based on weather conditions. Well socialized dogs  may play together within the same play yard per owner's request and after staff observation and slow introductions. 

Vaccine Requirements:

DOGS - Bordetella, DHPP and RABIES CERTIFICATE. Rabies Certificate requirements - cannot be just a line showing that they received their rabies vaccine and when it expires. The county is requiring an actual Rabies Certification for our file and here's what your veterinarian is required to provide you:

 10.20.250 

- Certificate of Vaccination—Information to Be Shown. 

A licensed veterinarian in the Department's jurisdiction who vaccinates a dog or cat against rabies must immediately issue a certificate of vaccination signed by the veterinarian to the owner or custodian of the dog 

and a duplicate certificate to the Director, stating: 

A.   The name and address of the owner or custodian of the vaccinated dog. 

B.   The type of vaccine used, the name of the manufacturer, the manufacturer's serial 

or lot number, and the date of the vaccination; and 

C.   The breed, age, color, and sex of the vaccinated dog. 

Additional info:

Dogs must arrive on leash. Please bring your dogs food  to prevent stomach upset by switching diets. Food must be in a container with tightly closing lid. If house kibble (Natural Balance Bison and Sweet Potato Limited Ingredient) is preferred, cost is $10/day.  You are welcome to bring anything that will make your dog feel at home while you are away. That includes: personal beds, crates, blankets, toys, treats… Dogs with bite history, medically fragile, flea/tick infested, actively sick dogs or dogs not up to date on immunizations and Rabies shots will not be accepted.

8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday. 

$30/day/dog for first 5 hours.

$40/day/dog for over 5 hours.

$10/hour fee for early drop off before 8:30am or

late pick up after 5:30pm.

BOARDING HOURS AND PRICING

 

Boarding available 7 days a week.

Drop off/pick up hours Monday-Saturday between 8:30am and 5:30pm.

Sunday hours: 3-5pm for pick-ups only.

$10 fee/dog/hour for early drop off before 8:30am

or late pick up after 5:30pm. 

 

Outdoor 5'x10' kennel with doghouses and misters $45/night/dog.

Standard 5'x6' indoor/outdoor climate controlled kennel $55/night/dog.  

 

Deluxe 6'x15' over-sized indoor/outdoor climate controlled kennel  $65/night/dog. 

 

$5 discount for 2nd dog per night from same family sharing same kennel. $10 discount for 3rd dog per night from same family sharing same kennel. $15 discount for 4th dog per night from same family sharing same kennel.
